THSD Training Center Directions4925 Bell Springs Road
By appointment or invitation only Call 512-858-1495 if you have trouble with the directions.
From Austin
2.Once you get to Dripping Springs, you will cross RR 12. Keep going on Hwy 290 West.
3.After you pass the middle school and high school, you will turn right onto Bell Springs Road off of Hwy 290 West. The ACE Hardware is on the corner and there is a traffic light.
4.Go 0.9 miles on Bell Springs and turn right at 4925 Bell Springs Rd.
5.Landmarks a.On Bell Springs, you will pass a Pink Pig mailbox. We are the next driveway on the right AFTER the pink piggy mailbox (not directly across from it). b.Look for the stone THSD sign on the right. You will turn right into the driveway and follow it up the hill.
6.If you need access to our wheelchair ramp, park in front of the garage building next to the main house.
7.The drive takes 25 minutes from the Oak Hill area of Austin.
From Houston: 1. Take IH 10 West to Hwy 71 West to Austin 2. Stay on Hwy 71 and you cross IH 35 when you get to Austin 3. Take Hwy 290 split off Hwy 71 4. Follow instructions above 5. Note: If you take Hwy 290 West all the way from Houston to Austin, stay on it and follow “Austin” directions once you’re on the west side of Austin. (It merges with IH 35 through Austin and then splits off.)
From San Antonio: 1. Take Hwy 281 North to Hwy 290 East to Dripping Springs. 2. Turn left at the Ace Hardware – that is Bell Springs Road. There is also a traffic light at that intersection. 3. Go 0.9 miles and turn right into the THSD driveway
From Dallas/Fort Worth 1. Fly! Then from the Austin Airport take Hwy 71 West and follow Houston Directions. 2. Road Warriors: Take IH 35 South to Austin. Take it through Austin and on the other side, south of downtown, take Hwy 290 West and follow Austin Directions above. |
