Create a Legacy
There are numerous ways to donate through “planned giving." From an outright gift to trust arrangements that benefit a surviving spouse; from a bequest under a will to a gift that provides for you and your family. Here are some of the options:

Wills, Bequests:
Leave specific assets or a portion of your estate;

Outright Gifts:
Give cash; appreciated real estate or other property; publicly traded securities; bonds

Life Insurance, Retirement Plans, Savings Accounts:
Designate Texas Hearing & Service Dogs as beneficiary;

Gifts offering lifetime income for you and your spouse:
Set up a charitable remainder unitrust or charitable remainder annuity trust;

Gifts with retained lifetime interest for you and your spouse:
Give a remainder interest in a residence or farm;

Gifts of Income:
Set up a charitable lead trust.

Your financial planner, lawyer or advisor can explain the details and tax benefits of these and other planned giving arrangements. Often, the donor receives the tax benefit now and the contribution is paid later when their estate is probated. We know how hard you work bringing us services we couldn’t live without. We also appreciate how generous you are in supporting our community through your payroll donations.

The State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) have begun. Texas Hearing and Service Dogs is fortunate to be included in these campaigns for most of the major cities in Texas.

Please look up Texas Hearing and Service Dogs in your index of charities in your SECC or CFC booklet and read about us. If you like what we do, we would appreciate being included in the list of organizations you support with your payroll contributions.

And if you would like to have us visit your agency for a presentation, please contact your SECC or CFC representative and let them know.
