Emma's workshops are brilliant experiences, offering you help with your reactive or aggressive dog.

This workshop consists of a variety of learning techniques - including lecture, video, case study, and demonstration - to help you understand and retain this important information and skills needed to work with your dog at home.

Day One (Saturday)

Day Two (Sunday)

  1. Teaching a Reactive Dog Class
  2. Dog-to-People Aggression
    1. Core Management Plan
    2. Managing Specific Aggressive Behaviors - Behavior Modification Plan
  3. The Emotional Involvement of the Human at the End of the Leash
    1. Changing the Emotional Associations
    2. Training Journal
  4. Support Group Wrap Up

Note: Only dogs being used in the seminar will be permitted in the building during the seminar. We will need 6 – 8 dogs with “issues” and 1 - 2 calm dogs for the seminar. Please email Melinda at Melinda@servicedogs.org for the paperwork that will need to be filled out to determine if your dog is a good candidate. Emma will choose which dogs will be used for the seminar.
