SDI Trainer Jane Delano works with Vancouver on fetching laundry
We are training Vancouver to help do laundry.
His new partner, Cherie, lives independently in College Station. We trained her original Service Dog, Angel, to help pull clothes from the dryer because Cherie can’t reach them.
Van is not only learning to fetch the clothes, he is mastering putting them into a laundry basket and then tugging the basket to another room where Cherie can fold her laundry.
He thinks it’s a big game because we make training fun.
In less than two weeks, Cherie travels to our training center Team Training with Vancouver. Everyone is excited – especially, Van!
Please consider chipping in to support Cherie and Van’s training!
