Career Change - Up for Pet Adoption
Basil is a 2 year old male Labrador Retriever mix. He is a charming, energetic, and lovable dog who has trained with us for over a year. He's a great learner but too energetic for a Service Dog career. When stressed, he can be quirky. This can be managed by someone who loves big, sensitive dogs.
Basil would prefer to be the sole pet in the household so he can revel in all of your attention and love. If you have children, they should be old enough to be comfortable with a big, active dog.
Basil loves training and sees it as play. An ideal pet parent will keep up his training so he can continue to thrive, manage stress, and bond with his new family.
